Avocado and Oil Salad Skin Treatment
When making a salad or using olive oil to stir up some yummy delight, I make sure I get it all over my hands. I just rub the extra olive oil on my face and arms, then my hair if there is some
left over! Adding avocado to a dish means I won't miss out on the benefits it gives to my skin either. I take the skin and rub it all over my face, neck and arms. I may also rub it in my hair. Be careful if your friends drop by though - you might get caught with some avocado sticking to your eyebrows!

Apple Cider Vinegar Toner + some
An apple cider vinegar splash after washing your face will give your skin the proper pH. Fill the sink with warm water and add vinegar to your liking then splash about 20 times.

Apple cider vinegar can be used all over the body, so keep an *ACV squirt bottle handy by the bath and shower. My husband uses it on his hair every day after shampoo as his scalp is on the oily side.

The antiseptic and antibacterial properties in apple cider vinegar are very good for balancing your skin.

*One half apple cider vinegar to one half water - preferably spring water.

I like to use raw ACV. One good company that has it is Bragg. If you visit their web page you can read about some other healthy properties of apple cider vinegar.

Don't worry about the smell (I happen to like it), the benefits far out weigh smelling vinegar on your skin or hair for awhile.

Coconut & Vinegar Hair Treatment
At night, maybe once a week, massage coconut oil into your scalp and hair then sleep with a towel over the pillow or with a shower cap. In the morning shampoo it out and instead of conditioner pour some apple cider vinegar over your hair and then rinse it out.  The coconut oil conditions your hair and its anti fugal and anti microbial properties help prevent dandruff. Don't worry if the vinegar smells a bit because it leaves your hair so incredibly soft.
